Give your guests at least 12 months notice for destination weddings or anyone who will be travelling to attend.
Don’t leave your invitations too late, you want to enjoy the process of choosing the perfect invitation without being rushed.
Start planning your day of stationery after the invitations go out: table numbers, menus, place cards, signage, favour tags, programs.
Layout your seating chart as the names comes in, finalize your day of details to print and assemble your favour tags.
Use your favourite wedding photo or a matching card to your invitations, just make sure you send a thank you card.
How it works
1. CONSULTATION We meet at my studio, look at my samples, talk prices and all the different options I can offer you
2. QUOTE A quote is emailed to you within a few days
3. INVOICE + CONTRACT + DEPOSIT • After you choose a package, an invoice will be sent along with your contract – You can add more invitations later if needed! • HST to be added to each order • A 50% non-refundable deposit is then require • The layout is started after the deposit and signed contract is given to Write It Out Loud
4. LAYOUT + FEEDBACK + REVISIONS • Your invitation layout will be emailed within a few days • Any feedback & revisions are done through email • You can have up to 3 proofs of revisions, after which costs $10 each proof – Please review each proof carefully!
5. FINAL PROOF + SIGN OFF • A final digital proof and check list will be sent for sign off • A printed sample can be made for $25
6. REMAINING PAYMENT • Remaining balance is due before pickup
7. PRINTING + ASSEMBLY • Your invitations will be printed within 2-3 weeks
8. HAPPY COUPLE RECEIVES THE INVITATIONS • And they lived happily ever after!

DESIGN PACKAGES
TEMPLATE DESIGNS We have many designs to choose from. SEMI-CUSTOMDESIGNS Choose one of our templates, and we can change fonts, wording, colour or layout changes. Colour artwork can also be updated as per your preference. BUILD-YOUR-OWN-INVITATION Choose the fonts, colours, wording, graphics from our catalogue & an invitation will be designed for you. CUSTOM DESIGN Billed per hour. Estimated hours given upfront. Minimum 3 hours.
HOW MANY DO I NEED?
You only need one invitation per household! If you are having 100 guests, you will want around 50 invitations. Order a few extra’s for keepsakes and give a set or two to your photographer for styled photographs.
OTHER INFORMATION
Minimal fees are added for semi-custom designs and build-your-own-invitations. Day of items ordered are included with these fees.
Invitations are digitally printed in the Write It Out Loud studio on matte, linen or shimmer cardstock.
We carry white, off-white, kraft and many shimmer colours instock, along with high quality white, off-white and kraft envelopes. Shimmer & coloured envelopes can also be ordered.
Every invitation is hand crafted and hand assembled.
Discounts are available for orders over 100 and 200 invitation sets.
We offer a DIY option to finish your invitations yourself to help on costs.
We can create your venue, ceremony, and hotel maps too. Many local venues are already on file.
Digital invitations along with graphics for photobooths and presentations available.
